Asha’s Restaurants takes home the Indian Restaurant of the Year Award for the second year running.
In an elegantly decorated ballroom hosting over 400 candidates from across the Middle East, the Asha’s team waited in suspense for the gold winner of the Indian Restaurant of the Year award to be named. Up against high-end indian restaurants in Dubai such as Ananta, Amal and Bombay Brasserie, the competition was high – with the prospect of holding our title for the second year running even higher.
When Asha’s Dubai was announced as the winner, our team rose from our chairs, exclaiming in collective excitement as we made our way to the stage to accept our award. As members, chefs and managers alike embraced – the Asha’s team couldn’t help but feel profoundly proud and grateful to win the prestigious award for the second year in a row.
As the weeks pass, we look back at the Hozpitality Excellence Awards 2017, which was hosted in the brand new Rixos Premium Dubai at JBR Walk on the 26th of November. Top industry organisations in F&B and hospitality, including Asha’s Dubai, joined together for the prestigious awards ceremony. Aimed at recognising organisations that showcase skill, creativity, ingenuity and success in the Middle East and North Africa’s growing hospitality industry, the awards host numerous categories of success.
Determining the winners were an esteemed panel of highly acclaimed judges from all over the region. Predominantly hospitality professionals, the judges proved invaluable in helping the awards encourage entries from beyond the UAE and judge them fairly. In addition to the online voting, the judges helped in reaching the final list of nominations for each category.
Ranging from hotels and apartments to spas and fitness centres, the Hozpitality Excellence Awards 2017 had over 800,000 hospitality professionals on the website from over 186 countries this year. As part of the winning team, Asha’s is honored in being chosen as the gold winner for our F&B category.
