“I’m Asha” to celebrate Asha’s contributions to the Indian film industry
Asha Bhosle is all set to return to the stage in Dubai and perform the unscripted show, aptly titled “I’m Asha”. This will be a musical conversation between Asha Bhosle and acclaimed Indian actor and the host of the show, Farooq Shaikh. Asha Bhosle sang her first song in 1946 at the age of 10 and has never looked back since. This rare performance will celebrate Asha Bhosle’s journey and her 70 amazing years in the Indian film and music industry.
“I have come to Dubai a number of times. I have done lots of shows, but this show is going to be completely different” promised Asha Bhosle at a recent press conference to announce the event.
“It is going to be a magnificent evening, where Ashajee will walk you through 100 years of cinema” added Farooq Shaikh.
The show will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre on 13th December, 2013.
